Market Update

As winter’s chill thawed, so did the real estate market around the Split Log corridor. Three home sales closed with enormous, above-asking selling prices.

Meanwhile, another seven homes came to market last month. Spring has sprung and homeowners are ready to do business!

It’s best to do so before interest rates bite. The 30-year conventional loan rate is up around 2% sincethe beginning of December. While many buyers are all- cash these days, rate hikes affect more than just home loans. It is possible that exuberance may temper soon.
